About Me
I am Elizabeth “Elle” Damian, a therapist who helps people find relief from OCD, intrusive thoughts, and the kind of spiraling anxiety that makes it hard to feel at peace. I also work with clients experiencing relationship burnout, emotional overwhelm, and challenges around sex and desire.
I work with adults navigating patterns that feel exhausting, confusing, or unsafe. Some are stuck in toxic dynamics with a partner or family member. Others feel haunted by intrusive thoughts they have never said out loud or feel unsure how to express their needs without conflict. In our work together you will have a space where you can be completely honest, explore what is keeping you stuck, and start making changes that feel right for you.
As a wife, mother, and clinician, I blend real-life experience with practical tools. I hold training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My work often includes helping clients address taboo topics, relationship dysfunction, religious guilt, and the overthinking that can make it hard to rest at night.
I am a culturally competent provider with experience working with clients from many backgrounds, including Hispanic clients and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I offer a space that is open, safe, and respectful of your identity, without making it the focus of treatment unless that is what you want.
You do not have to filter yourself here. You do not have to manage the room. Just bring whatever you are carrying and we will work through it together.
Specialties and Approach
I help clients work through the messy, often overwhelming parts of life, whether it is spiraling thoughts, relationship chaos, or shame that feels hard to name. My specialties include:
OCD and intrusive thoughts, including taboo, sexual, or religious themes
Toxic relationship recovery and boundary work
Sexual wellness, including desire differences, intimacy after trauma, and shame around sex
Anxiety, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, and overfunctioning
Religious trauma and identity confusion
I use an integrated approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and solution-focused strategies. Therapy with me is collaborative and goal-oriented while also allowing space to explore the deeper patterns that keep you from feeling your best.
If you are ready to stop managing everyone else’s emotions, stop fighting your own brain, and start building a life that feels like yours, I offer a free 15 minute consultation so we can talk about your goals and how I can help.
